Here is a curated selection of my oil paintings

Old Coach Road to Mt Kaukau
Oil on linen panel 16" x 12". Available.
A well-known view for walkers and runners along Old Coach Road, the colours change here over the seasons, and I love the glow of the light oranges and greens in the summer.

Morning on Old Coach Road
Oil on linen panel 12" x 10". Available.
One of my favourite local walks, I had wanted to capture the feeling of the light hitting the tops of the hills. This was exhibited at the Artist 24/7 gallery in Newtown, Wellington.

Oil on wood panel 12"x12". Sold.
A calm day in Wellington Harbour, I'm keen to revisit this in a larger format.

Kia Māia, Be Brave
Oil and acrylic grain gel medium on canvas 18"x24".
This painting was a finalist in the New Zealand Academy of Fine Art Visual Art Prize 2025.

Moo with a view
Oil on linen panel 20"x16". Available.
I loved the sense of distance in this scene, where the mist rose up in the mountain. This was exhibited with the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts.

Wellington Harbour from Johnsonville
Oil on canvas 24"x18". Currently on Exhibition.
Totara park is a local short walk which rewards with great views. I began painting this on-site, which was optimistic as it's a relatively large canvas for painting en plein air.

Ohariu Valley
Oil on linen panel 16"x12" Sold
I started this small painting outdoors (en plein air) and completed it at home. It was a windy Wellington evening, otherwise peaceful except for some fearless teenagers riding a wheelie bin down the hill to the left.

The texture of the moss and lichen on the fallen tree in the foreground gave me the opportunity to experiment with different techniques.
